Myra Evans-Manyweather

Myra Evans-Manyweather is an Author/Speaker/Coach.  Her mission is to lend her story and voice to help empower others to innovate their way out of poverty through her InnoWoman and Storyteller4Change programs.  Her book, Start Where You Are:  My Journey from Childhood Poverty to Passionate Entrepreneur, highlights her personal journey and inspire others to start where you are, grow your gifts and talents and build your legacy.  She has a BS degree in Accounting and a Master in Management.  A retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel, Myra Evans-Manyweather, is the President and co-owner of Global e-Talent Network 7 with over 30 years combined military and civilian service where she honed her leadership skills.  She is a certified Defense Financial Manager, certified Process Improvement Green Belt, trained ToPS Facilitator, Alumni of the Alamo, Leadership Federal Executive Board, John Maxwell Team Member, and the recipient of the Air Force 2017 Blacks in Government Meritorious Service Award.  She volunteers in her local church as well as in her community as a Social Entrepreneur Advisor.  Myra resides in San Antonio, TX with her husband Art and son AC.

Lisa McLin

Lisa Heritage McLin is the Channel Sales and Alliances VP for North America at Rackspace, where she has worked since 2002. In her current role, she focuses on building strong relationships across the company's partner and alliance channels. Prior to this position, Lisa was VP of Sales at Rackspace where she was responsible for building, scaling and rapidly growing the sales organization. She's a native of San Antonio, where she currently resides with her husband and two sons. Lisa is a role model and example of women succeeding in the technology world.

Cynthia Phelps, PhD

Dr. Phelps is a researcher, instructional designer, coach, international speaker and the founder of InnerAlly, a company that leverages research in positive psychology to create research-based curricula and digital tools to improve mental wellness. 

 Dr. Phelps has a PhD in pharmacology with a focus on mental health and behavior change.  She uses her background and practical design experience to incorporate the science of compassion into her work.

She is trained as a Texas State Peer Recovery Coach and is a trained teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion a research-based program to raise self-compassion. Dr. Phelps teaches courses, workshops and does coaching to help others raise their levels of self-compassion to create their own breakthroughs.

Aurora Ortega-Geis

Aurora loves to connect the dots. She is a wife, mother, and community volunteer. Her passion is to unleash the unspoken vision and purpose in a person, organization or community.  She loves to learn, build bridges and strategies, and unleash potential through a creative and innovative approach using pragmatic inquiry.

Aurora is the CEO of A GO Strategy, an executive coaching, consulting and digital marketing company. She is an expert in casting vision and building and or aligning business strategies with the brand - vision, mission and values of organizations. She has lead transformation in high impact industries such as the public power and housing industry, casting visions to create a new energy economy at CPS Energy, a $10 billion company and with Fannie Mae, leading a $2.5 billion affordable housing and community development strategy increasing the the City of San Antonio’s homeownership and a strategy to revitalize the housing stock.  Her lengthy career includes several high marketing positions to build a digital brand presence online with a start-up company and a national consulting agency.  She excels in directing complex strategies and creating and maintaining key relationships in dynamic environments.  Currently, Aurora is leading the effort to build the nation's first apprentice program for Digital Marketing in the United States under the banner of the Department of Labor’s Apprenticeship Office.  Furthermore, she acts as the head coach and mentor for Digital Creative Institute, an apprentice program for Digital Marketing.

Rosa Elleni Vargas Brito

Rosa Elleni is a Dominican-American Operational Excellence, Quality Assurance and Strategy Champion. She has 20 years of global experience leading successful Six Sigma, Lean, Production and Quality System deployments for Fortune 100 / Fortune 500 companies. She has effectively coached and led cross-functional international teams that generated multi-million cost savings portfolios. Rosa Elleni is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a CSSBB (ASQ.org). A world traveler (32 countries and counting), bilingual competition writer who has lived and worked in the Caribbean, Europe and USA. Her parents, two younger sisters and her beloved nephew live in the Dominican Republic, but are connected by technology in a daily basis. Rosa Elleni felt inspired to organize this event to give back to the society for the opportunities she's had in life. She has pledged to support, elevate and empower women towards the achievement of gender parity.

  • Interview appropriate blouses

  • Professional separates including blouses, slacks, skirts, dresses, blazers and jackets

  • Work appropriate shoes

  • Jewelry and scarves

  • Handbags (briefcases, portfolios or work appropriate handbag)

Additionally, many of their clients go directly to an interview, so please ensure that all items donated are freshly dry-cleaned / laundered and ironed, not more than 5 years old, and suitable for wearing to job interviews.



There are some parking options like Rand Parking, and other public parking lots near the Geekdom Event Centre. Please schedule enough time to find parking, because we will start at 6:00 p.m.
